This is a very popular replacement for the factory unit on the 2005-2008 Mustang GT with a Roush Supercharger. This alternator is properly machined before powder coating to Roush specs for supercharger clearance. Are you getting a check engine light for your cam position sensor? This unit will solve the problem caused by diode feedback on the factory alternator. This unit will increase the charging capacity at all RPM Ranges with NO modifications. If you have a 2009 Mustang this will only work if you have a Motorcraft alternator. If your 09 Mustang has a large black plastic cover on the back you DO NOT have a Motorcraft Alternator.

Common on Ford SOHC DOHC and some 3V Applications
