Brenspeed Strange Axle Packages are a complete ready to install assembly. They include Strange Axles, OEM Ford Tone Rings, and your choice of standard length wheel studs or long wheel studs for drag strip applications. Pressing the tone rings off your stock axles or new tone rings onto new axles can be a very difficult task. Make life easy with this fully assembled kit that arrives to you ready to install with all tone rings and wheel studs pressed into the correct position.

Strange C-Clip Axles

Updated material and machining technology to replace old and fatigued OEM axles
Replaces axles damaged by bearing failure
Reduces end play caused by worn clip grooves
Perfect addition to a rebuilt rear end

Alloy Axles

Forged from modified 1550 premium steel
Majority of machining performed before heat treat to provide consistent hardness
Induction hardened to Rc 62 to increase torsional strength while remaining ductile
Finish machined after heat treat to ensure accuracy
31 spline
31.82" & 32.71" in length (Measured from outside face of flange to axle tip)
Dual 4 1/2" bolt circles for either OEM 1/2" press-in studs or 1/2"-20 screw-in studs
