The
Barton Industries Hybrid 3 Short Throw Shifter was designed to bring
S550 Mustang owners the best shifting experience possible. This shifter
will reduce your throw by 25% for quicker shifts that are more accurate
thanks to the 3 bushing system. For more forgiving shifts, the side to
side distance between gears has been increased and adjustable side to
side spring pressure allows you to dial in the shifter for a perfect
second to third shift every time. With its unique cartridge design and
dual mounting ability, the Hybrid 3 shifter can be mounted to your
Mustangs transmission directly with a solid linkage or to the body with
a pivot linkage. The shifter comes with an aluminum stick that has a
brushed finished and your choice of white or black shift knob. Made in
the USA, Barton has constructed the most complete shifter you can buy
on the market and one that generates little to no increase of NVH.
